4 Tips for Finding a Dental Implant Dentist

I can imagine how much there is to do to make your new house feel like a home, so I know it will be a while before you start looking for a dental home. However, when you are ready to begin your search for a new implant dentist, I’d like to share some tips that can make your decision a little easier:

  1. Ask around—Your new neighbors and coworkers can be a great source of information when it’s time to find tooth replacement options and a place where your entire family can receive quality dental care. You can get to know people in your new city and gain some valuable information at the same time! I think it’s a great place to begin your search.
  2. Use the Internet—I can’t stress enough how much information you can find on the Internet about different dental practices. I recommend checking where each prospective dental office is located to see if it’s close to work and school. You can also read reviews to see what other patients experienced and even look at before-and-after pictures of dental implants. I urge you to look at websites and social media accounts to gather information and gain insight.
  3. Review services—I know it will take a little time to narrow your choices, but once you have a short list of prospective dentists in mind, I think it’s a good idea to investigate the services they can provide. Check to see if they offer the services you and your family need. At my dental office, we proudly offer the following services to our patients: dental implants, clear aligners, cosmetic dentistry, dental crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, TMJ and Bruxism treatment, preventive dentistry, sedation dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation.
  4. Arrange a visit—Before making your final decision, I recommend calling each prospective dental office and asking about stopping by for a short visit. This can give you a good sense of the office climate, allow you to explore the facilities, and ask any questions you may have. I love meeting new patients and welcoming them to my dental practice, so give us a call when you are ready!
